How to Get a McKinsey Internship from the University of Michigan

When to apply

Consulting runs a little later than banking: at many firms, recruiting for junior-summer roles opens in the spring of sophomore year. Firms interview on a school-by-school schedule, so check your career center's calendar and the firm's own page for your campus.

Using Michigan to get in

Ross runs a strong consulting recruiting scene, with case clubs, practice partners and alumni at the major firms. Use all of it: case practice is a team sport.
